The Healing Path provides readers with information on living an holistic lifestyle from a SPIRIT, MIND, BODY and EARTH CONSCIOUSNESS perspective. We welcome non-fiction articles which empower our readers in any of these four areas. Informational articles from a third person perspective (research, interviews, etc.) are preferred. We do accept a limited number of personal essays as long as they are not “infomercials” for your business.
Article Submissions MUST
  • be 700 words maximum
  • be submitted by email to Submissions@healingpath.com
  • include a short description (bio) of author of 50 words or less to be added to the end of your article. (Where appropriate, you are welcome to use the final bio-paragraph to inform the reader about your business and how to contact you.)
  • include a photo of the author (see photo instructions below)
  • include writer’s name, address and phone.

We welcome photos and/or illustrations submitted with articles. (see photo instructions below)

Writers who have published articles with us before should still include an updated bio paragraph and photo with their new article. Otherwise, an old (possibly outdated) bio and photo might be inserted.

We prefer fresh, new articles written exclusively for The Healing Path. Although we do accept multiple submissions, we ask that you include that information with your article. We also ask that you let us know if your article has been published elsewhere.

The managing editor and the volunteer Editorial Advisory Board review every article submitted. Articles chosen for publication are then edited by two separate Assistant Editors.

Photo, Art, Pictures and Illustration Instructions
Please send electronic photos or art at 300 dpi resolution or higher, or send original photos to the mailing address. Do not embed photos or pictures in text document. Send original color or black and white photos or art -- do not send halftones. Electronic art files are preferred.

We do not offer cash payment for articles. All submissions must be the original work of the author or artist. We will not publish material which attacks, demeans or seeks to negate others. Works may be edited for grammar, spelling, punctuation, length and readability.

The Healing Path does not copyright any of the material published. Writers may wish to copyright their own material.
